One of the eight core business areas of the Kazakhstan-China International Economic Development Center,

Implementation of the China–Kazakhstan Joint Statement and Letter of Commendation from the Chinese Side
To further implement the Joint Statement of the People’s
Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan signed
by the two heads of state in Astana on July 3, 2024,
the International Cooperation Center of the National
Development and Reform Commission of China sent a letter
to Mr. Jiangbur Akhmetberikov, Chairman on the Kazakh
side of the Kazakhstan–China International Economic
Development Center.
The letter highly recognized the Center’s important role
in promoting cooperation between China and Kazakhstan and
expressed the intention to strengthen communication and jointly
advance cooperation in economy, culture, and sports.
It also emphasized the role of people-to-people diplomacy
and encouraged continued contributions to the Belt and Road
Initiative and shared development between the two countries.
Kazakh Kuresi and China–Kazakhstan Cultural and Sports Exchange Practices
In order to better promote trade exchanges,
investment cooperation, and the development of
cultural and sports exchanges between China and Kazakhstan,
Mr. Song Jianlin, the Chinese Chairman of the Kazakhstan–China
International Economic Development Center,
introduced Kazakh Kuresi (traditional wrestling) to
China in 2017 and established it at the Jintai Art Museum in Beijing.
Subsequently, he recommended classic Henan Opera productions from China,
including The Legend of the White Snake and Xuanzang,
to Kazakhstan, where they participated in the
Zhanati Khadzhiyev International Theatre Festival
and won the Outstanding Organization Award and the
Outstanding Individual Performance Award.
Later, Mr. Song Jianlin was elected Vice President of
the World Kazakh Wrestling Federation in 2019.
The Bridge Role and Platform Value of the China–Kazakhstan International Economic Development Center
In light of the deepening economic and cultural integration
between China and Kazakhstan,
the Kazakhstan–China International Economic Development Center
has become an important bridge for communication and exchange between
the governments and civil sectors of both countries.
The establishment of the Center has created a new platform
to showcase and further promote the comprehensive integration
and development of economic and cultural ties between China and Kazakhstan.
Effective Contributions and High Recognition from Both China and Kazakhstan
Due to its long-term, stable,
and effective efforts in promoting development across
various sectors between China and Kazakhstan,
the Kazakhstan–China International Economic Development
Center has earned widespread acclaim from enterprises on both sides,
as well as high recognition from the governments of China and Kazakhstan.
China–Kazakhstan Legal Cooperation and International Recognition
The Kazakhstan Jianzhong Law Firm was established jointly with Inner Mongolia Jianzhong Law Firm.
Inner Mongolia Jianzhong Law Firm has been ranked Band 1 for Corporate/Commercial
Law by Chambers & Partners 14 times and is once
again featured in the Chambers Greater China Guide 2025.
Establishment of the China–Kazakhstan Shaolin Kung Fu Academy with Master Shi Yanwu
Master Shi Yanwu, a 34th-generation disciple of the
Shaolin Temple and a recognized inheritor of
world intangible cultural heritage Shaolin Kung Fu,
was born in 1970 into a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners.
Starting martial arts at age six,
he is the only authentic master proficient in the seven ultimate Shaolin techniques,
earning the title “China’s Number One Martial Monk.” His signature skill,
Iron Crotch Gong, won the World’s Top Kung Fu Award in 1995 and is recorded in
the World Famous People Registry and the Guinness World Records for Kung Fu.
Master Shi has visited over 100 countries,
winning numerous international martial arts competitions.
He has served as Chief Instructor of Shaolin Monks,
Special Coach for the Chinese Armed Police,
and currently holds leadership roles in multiple cultural and martial arts foundations,
including directing the China Shaolin Zen Martial Medical Development Public Fund and
leading the Shi Yanwu Shaolin Monk Troupe.

Youth Troupe Wins Double Honors at Zhanati Khadzhiev International Drama Festival
At the festival, the youth troupe won the award for Outstanding Organization at the Zhanati Khadzhiev International Drama Festival;
at the same time, Wu Sujin, who played the lead role in the play "The Legend of the White Snake", won the award for Outstanding Individual Performance.
Kazakhstan-China Economic Development Center Establishes Chinese International Law Firm in Astana
On November 29,
the Kazakhstan–China International Economic Development Center Jianzhong International
Law Firm was officially inaugurated in Astana.
The ceremony was attended by key figures including H.E. Jiangbul Akhmetbekov,
Chairman of the Kazakhstan–China Economic Development Center (Kazakhstan side),
Song Jianzhong, Director of Jianzhong Law Firm, as well as representatives from
the Kazakh Parliament, Astana City Council, and business leaders from both countries.
In his speech, H.E. Akhmetbekov highlighted that the establishment of
Jianzhong International Law Firm represents a significant step in deepening
Sino-Kazakh legal cooperation and promoting high-quality economic and trade relations.
He expressed confidence that the firm would serve as a bridge for legal exchanges
and business collaboration between the two nations.
The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of the firm’s plaque,
officially marking the start of its operations.
